How much does it cost to lay the pipes to support a ground source heat pump system? My house is about 3,300 sq. ft. house in New England and we have about 0.75 acre backyard.

It will depend on the type of installation - horizontal vs. vertical - and the condition of the ground beneath you property. Usually the cost for drilling alone is somewhere around $15k for average homes, but it can range considerably. The best way to find out is to get quotes from three high quality providers and see what the cost ranges look like.
