I'm thinking about doing a PV system and trying to determine if the SRECs are guaranteed and irrevocable for the 10 years following installation -- at least at the floor price. They're a big factor in the financial return from the project, although with the electricity savings alone, it's probably still worth doing (not to mention the environmental/social benefits.)

Some states offer markets for Solar Renewable Energy Credits (or SRECs) for the power produced by your solar energy system. In Massachusetts, the state backs your SRECs for ten years. You can track the price of SRECs through the Massachusetts market.
