Can anyone recommend a good, systematic way to choose an installer? I don't want to make a decision based only on price and find myself in trouble 5-10 years down the road!

The best way to choose a solar installer is to evaluate them on a couple of levels: experience, qualifications, commitment to quality, customer service and assurances. EnergySage can help you with this background research, we have profiles of installers and all of the installers on our site have been pre screened. When you're doing your research it's good to make sure that you're getting all the information you need on a variety of topics beyond just price, we've put together a list of the most important questions to ask your installer. Then when you're ready to shop you'll have all the information you need at your fingertips and the EnergySage Marketplace will be able to help you get the best deal on your Solar PV system!
